Command a lone survey ship pushing into uncharted space. Distance from home is your progression axis. The voyage is a stream of varied encounters — hostiles, anomalies, derelicts, first contacts, hazards — each resolved by a different ship system. Nothing can be skipped: deep space gets harder until the only sane move is to return home, publish your findings, and launch a better ship. Optimistic, TNG-style exploration in your pocket.
The core loop
- Your ship travels outward and lightyears tick up; encounters spawn along the path.
- Every encounter must be resolved by its matching system — weak stats just mean slow, never a fail.
- Encounters produce Data, codex entries and rare Exotic Matter.
- Spend Data on ship systems to resolve faster, travel faster, and automate more.
- Difficulty outpaces your yields, so eventually the frontier grinds you to a halt.
Return home to go further
When deep space finally pushes back, return home to convert the voyage into Renown, buy permanent upgrades, and launch a better ship that pushes farther before it grinds down. The wall isn't a menu you're nagged about — you watch your ship take longer and longer per encounter and feel the frontier resisting.
Five encounters, five systems
- Hostiles — met with Weapons. Pirates and aggressive fauna.
- Anomalies — met with Sensors. Nebulae and spatial phenomena; the richest Data.
- Derelicts — met with the Salvage Rig. Wrecks and dead stations.
- First Contact — met with the Comm Array. New lifeforms fill your codex.
- Hazards — met with Deflectors. Clear one for a charted shortcut and a speed boost.
An idle game you can dip into for seconds or watch for hours. In development — coming to Android.
